EVENT PLANNER
About Us
For four decades, the Assaulted Women’s Helpline (AWHL) has been a beacon of hope for women and gender-diverse individuals fleeing violence. Through our 24/7 crisis support, trauma-informed counseling, and advocacy programs, we support survivors to reclaim their lives. As we prepare to mark our 40th anniversary in 2025, we aim to amplify our legacy with transformative events and fundraising campaigns that honor our past, celebrate progress, and mobilize resources for a future free from gender-based violence.
The Opportunity
This role is more than event planning—it’s about creating spaces where survivors’ resilience is honored, and donors become champions for change. As our Event Planner, you’ll spearhead high-impact initiatives that elevate AWHL’s visibility, deepen engagement, and secure sustainable funding. - recognition initiatives (e.g., annual appreciation awards).
